Somos amor

Aptly entitled “We Are Love” closes tomorrow in Lagos Nigeria.
“We Are Love” is the Africa Artists’ Foundation’s (AAF) first Art Salon of 2014. It features recent work by nine Nigerian artists who explore the concept of love through varied artistic practices including painting, photography, collage, and mixed media.

Participating artists include Tyna Adebowale, Tolu Aliki, Ike Gerald Chiemieze, George Edozie, Obinna Makata, Yomi Momoh, Obi Nwokedi, Chike Obeagu, and Uche Uzorka

With a specific focus on strengthening opportunities for young collectors, this event included a presentation by Cecelia Stucker, director of C.C. Curating and Collections, providing advice on collecting contemporary art through her experience curating exhibitions internationally and offering collection management services.
